Medication is an aminoglycoside, prescribed for the management of cystic fibrosis. Uses:

• Natclovir is an antiviral drug. It slows the growth and spread of the cytomegalovirus. Infection occurs in patients who have suppressed immune systems such as patients with AIDS and organ transplant patients.

Side effects:
Serious side effects affecting the blood have been reported. Decreased levels of blood cells have occurred.

• Centrex containns Valacyclovir which belongs to the class of medications known as antivirals. It is used to treat a viral infection affecting the skin known as shingles .
• It is also used to treat cold sores, and to treat and prevent recurrences of genital herpes.
• It works by interfering with the way the virus reproduces. Valacyclovir works by stopping the virus from multiplying and spreading to nearby healthy cells.

• Adefovir is used to treat chronic hepatitis B infection in patients who have symptoms of the disease. Adefovir is in a class of medications called nucleotide analogs. It works by decreasing the amount of hepatitis B virus in the body. Adefovir will not cure hepatitis B and may not prevent complications of chronic hepatitis B such as cirrhosis of the liver or liver cancer. Adefovir may not prevent the spread of hepatitis B to other people. Adefovir comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food.

• Xylistin contains Colistimethate which is a surface active agent which penetrates into and disrupts the bacterial cell membrane. Colistimethate is polycationic and has both hydrophobic and lipophilic moieties. It interacts with the bacterial cytoplasmic membrane, changing its permeability.

Hostacycline capsules 500mg contain tetracycline, a broad-spectrum used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in various parts of the body to relieve symptoms like inflammation and pain caused by the infection.
